Burberrys vintage trench coat (double-breasted) - size 50 reg

Classic Burberrys vintage trench coat (about 1980s), beige/khaki. Made in England.

The cut is the original and iconic one of the real military trench coat: raglan sleeves, double-breasted buttoning, back vent that can be closed with a button, waist belt with brass eyelets and leather buckle, high collar with chin strap, rainproof breastplate on the right flap, wrist straps with leather buckles, rainproof flap on the back...

That is, all what an authentic trench coat must have to be called such!

Gabardine fabric in the cotton and polyester blend version (51%-49%): unlike 100% cotton, this fabric is lighter, has better waterproofing, and is also more resistant to stains.

The size is a 50 regular. This type of garment is designed as an overcoat: it therefore has a naturally comfortable fit and fits a size 52 very well, especially if worn without a jacket underneath.

The fit is however well adaptable thanks to the waist belt and the raglan sleeve.

Measurements in cm: chest from armpit to armpit 63 cm, width at the bottom 80, total length 116, raglan sleeve length (from the bottom to the attachment on the collar) 76, width of the shoulders approximately 55 cm.

The shoulder measurement is purely indicative: the sleeves are of the raglan type, so there is no fixed shoulder width.

This trench coat is in immaculate condition: no signs of wear or stains (which is quite rare on a garment like this, from this era and in this color).
