Exchanges and return policy
The items offered on trebleandbassvintage.com are, with few exceptions, vintage or second-hand clothing and accessories. Therefore, it is possible that some items may show minor signs of use or small imperfections, which—when present—will always be clearly stated in the product descriptions, shown in photos, and reflected in the final sale price.
Before purchasing, please carefully check the exact measurements in cm listed for each item. These measurements are always included in the item description or shown in a visual size chart within the product photos for easier reference.
In vintage fashion, it's especially important to keep in mind that the size shown on the label is just a number. Sizing systems vary greatly depending on the era, the country of manufacture, the style, and other factors. A universal sizing system that directly links garment size to human body measurements simply doesn’t exist.
The only reliable way to be sure that a garment will fit is to compare all its measurements in cm with a similar item you already own that fits you well.
When items are worn by models in the photos, we will always indicate the model’s sizes in the product description. However, this is meant for illustrative purposes only and is not a substitute for comparing actual measurements.
By keeping these simple guidelines in mind, it becomes very unlikely that a purchased item will not fit or meet expectations. This helps reduce the need for returns, which save time and money for both buyer and seller—and also reduces environmental impact.
If you still wish to return an item, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days from the date of delivery, as provided by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005, Articles 52 and following).
To do so, simply notify us in writing using any communication channel you prefer: the designated return form in your customer account, email (info@trebleandbassvintage.com), or our social media accounts.
Once we receive your request, we will send you instructions on how to return the item.
Please note that return shipping costs are always the responsibility of the buyer.
You may choose to organize the return shipment yourself, covering the shipping costs and sending the item to the return address we will provide. The shipment must be trackable.
Alternatively, to simplify the return process, we may—at our discretion—offer a prepaid return label.
In this case, the return shipping fee of €8.50 will be deducted from the refund.
The seller is not responsible for any loss, damage, or issues related to the return shipment.
Returned items must be received in the exact same condition as when purchased, with no additional signs of use, no tailoring alterations or washing, and with all original accessories or packaging (e.g., dust bags, brand boxes, etc.).
Once the return has arrived at our premises and the item’s condition has been confirmed, we will issue a refund of the full item price + original shipping costs (if applicable, return label fees will be deducted).
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original order.
If, upon receipt of the return, we find that the item’s condition has diminished in value, we reserve the right to deduct an amount equal to the decrease in value from the refund. In such a case, the buyer may choose to forego the refund and have the item shipped back at their own expense.
Please note that, under Art. 56, Paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree 206/2005,
"The professional is not required to reimburse any additional costs if the consumer has expressly chosen a type of delivery other than the least expensive type offered."
This means that refunds for the original shipping cost are not guaranteed if the buyer chose Express Shipping or any non-standard, paid delivery method instead of free standard shipping.
