Exchanges and returns

The items offered on trebleandbassvintage.com are, with very few exceptions that are always reported, vintage or second-hand clothing and accessories: it is therefore possible that they present, in some cases, small signs of wear or minimal imperfections that, if present, will always be reported in the ad, shown accurately in photos and taken into account in the final sale price.

Before purchasing, please carefully check the exact measurements in cm of the item you are interested in. These are always reported in the description of each item, or shown in a graphic diagram in the last photo, that makes reading the measurements much more "visual" and immediate.
In vintage fashion it is more necessary than ever to keep in mind that the size that we see on the label is little more than a number. The system of attributing clothing sizes is extremely heterogeneous, and varies according to the era, the country of manufacture, the style, etc. A universal sizing system in which there is a unique correspondence between the size of the garment and the measurements of the human body has unfortunately not yet been invented.
The only way to have objective certainty of the fit of the item you intend to purchase is therefore to check all the measurements in cm and compare them with those of a similar item that you already own and that fits well.
Where the items are worn in photos by models, their sizes will be specified in the advert. However, please note that this is purely indicative and demonstrative, and does not replace the reliability of comparing the measurements in cm.

If you keep in mind the short and simple indications listed above, it is very difficult for an item ordered to not satisfy or not fit. By doing so, you will have as little recourse as possible to returns, which represent a waste of time and a cost for the buyer and the seller (and, not secondarily, for the environment).

If it is still necessary to return the purchased product, the Buyer can exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the order, in the manner and within the limits established by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005, art. 52 et seq.).
It will be sufficient to communicate in writing your desire to exercise the withdrawal, using any communication channel of your choice (the specific online form on this website, the email address info@trebleandbassvintage.com, social channels, etc.).
Once the Customer has communicated to us the desire to withdraw, we will send the customer a return label with the relevant instructions for returning the goods.
The costs of the return shipment are, in any case, borne by the Buyer, and will be deducted from the initial amount of the refund.

Alternatively, the Customer can choose to organize the return shipment independently, without being sent a prepaid shipping label by us.
The shipment must still be made with a traceable method, and even in this case the return costs remain the responsibility of the Buyer (who, if he/she chooses to provide for the return independently, will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the order, including the initial shipping costs).

The Seller is in no case responsible for losses, damages or any other possible problem with the return shipment.
The returned items must come back in the exact same conditions in which they were found at the time of purchase (without signs of further use, modifications, washing), complete with all the accessories or original packaging possibly included (e.g. dustbag, original branded boxes, etc.).

In the event that, upon receipt of the return, a decrease in value of the goods is found compared to the initial conditions, we reserve the right to withhold from the refund an amount equal to the decrease in value.

Once the return has been received at the Seller's premises, if the conditions are intact and correspond to the initial ones, the Seller will provide the Buyer with a refund for the entire amount of the item + initial shipping costs (where applicable, the shipping costs incurred by us for the return will be deducted).
The refund will be provided on the same payment method used at the time of the order.

It should be noted that, pursuant to art. 56 c. 2 Legislative Decree 206/2005, "the professional is not required to refund the additional costs, if the consumer has expressly chosen a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of delivery offered by the professional". Therefore, the refund of the initial shipping costs is guaranteed, in any case, up to €6.50 for national shipments and €14.90 for international shipments.
