Suit cut in full 1940s/1950s style: the fabric is a very heavy wool barathea, black in color; the suit is completely hand-made, with jacket and waistcoat hand-canvased.
Single-breasted jacket with single button, with very high peak lapels, in silk satin. The buttons are of the concave type, typical and iconic of the era.
Waistcoat with classic U-shaped shawl lapels and oblique double-breasted buttoning. With adjustable back strap.
High-waisted trousers, with double pleat and button fastening flap with handmade waistband.
The suit is in excellent condition and with little use. This is a bespoke garment which does not reflect a standard size. I'd recommend it approximately for a size 46/48 ITA for the jacket, while the trousers fit a fair 46, but have a good margin of fabric to have it widened.
In this case it's more than ever essential to rely on the complete measurements in cm indicated in the last photo. The waistcoat measures 50x58 cm.
