Exclusive double-breasted suit by Yves Saint Laurent in 100% pure shantung silk, vintage from the '70s/'80s.
Gray/silver color, with thin pinstripe. The fabric is a pure shantung silk, with a slightly raw finish, which creates natural and delicate reflections of light.
Jacket: double-breasted 4/1, with peak lapels, welt pockets and no back vent. Bemberg lining with jacquard YSL logo allover. The internal construction of the jacket is excellent, fully canvassed.
Classic high-waisted trousers, straight cut, with double pleats and 4 cm turn-ups at the bottom. Inner belt has YSL logos.
The suit is marked as size 52, but it fits a modern 50 ITA long (also ideal for moderately tall people). For complete measurements in cm, see the diagram in the last photo. Please note the trousers have been slightly widened, with a well-executed and invisible modification.
Suit in perfect condition, probably used only a couple of times (the jacket pockets are still closed).
